Our
purpose is to connect women to God, involve them in relationships
and ministry to each other, provide avenues and projects for giving
and service, and develop effective leaders.
Core
values of our ministry include:
- Evangelism
- leading our family, friends, and neighbors to Christ.
- Discipleship
and citizenship - a deeper spiritual life and involvement
in community issues.
- Personal
and family development - developing ourselves and encouraging
Christian family values.
- Giving
and service to meet the needs of others.
For
we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building
(1 Corinthians 3:9).
And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling
in which God lives by his Spirit (Ephesians 2:22).
When you're kind to others, you help yourself. The one who
blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are
helped (Proverbs 11).
If
any of you wants to serve me, then follow me. Then you'll
be
where I am, ready to serve at a moment's notice. The Father
will
honor and reward anyone who serves me (John 12).
Wise
women are always learning, always listening for fresh
insights (Proverbs 18).
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in
all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases
the Lord
(Ephesians 5:8-10). |
Today
Wesleyan Women are serving at home and overseas. They are
organized into approximately 700 local chapters with more than 28,400
